In Class
In our room, we have several rewards, incentives, procedures and norms.
CLASS POINTS- The class can earn positive rewards by adding 'marbles to the jar.' Once the jar is full, the classroom will get a popcorn party!
DOJO- Individual students can earn both positive and negative points using classDoJo. As a parent, you can sign in from you computer or phone to see what your child's behaviors are in the classroom. DoJo points are traded in for 'tickets.' Tickets can be used during our class auction, where students can make bids and win prizes. I try to hold auction at least once a week. Students can earn books, school supplies, class coupons and more. Class coupons include a homework pass, sit by a buddy pass, bring a share pass, and use a pen pass.
JOBS- Each student is also in charge of one classroom job. Jobs may range from homework checkers to air conditioner control. These range in responsibility levels, but every student has a role in the classroom. Students are able to earn tickets by doing an outstanding job and even apply for a different position.
